These are the known ninja ranks that can be obtained by a ninja within the world of Naruto. On our server Ranks don't always measure power, however what is in fact important is that the higher rank you are the more experienced you are and the more stamina and knowledge you hold.

_____________________________________________________________

[Academy Students]
The academy is where would-be ninja start; they are not actually considered ninja until they graduate. Academy students take formal and practical tests of all sorts and are taught basic ninja skills, such as martial arts, techniques, physical fitness and the way of the ninja. Basic weapon usage, such as kunai and shuriken, is commonly taught. Elementary ninja techniques, though they vary from village to village, are also taught.

Maximum Level: 10
Jutsu: Up to D Rank
HP Bonus: +0
CP Bonus: +5
Teaching Abilities: Nothing

Note: Academy Students do not benifit from any bonuses gained from clans/bloodlines/abilities unless it is an addition to Jutsu Learning Rolls. (This includes Damage Bonus / Skill Bonus / Stat Bonuses etc)
Note: It is not required to start out as an Academy Student, However if you do then you will gain Permanent bonuses to your character for being willing to put in the time, effort, and Roleplay (It is always required that AS students are to be atleast 1 week old, before graduation). On-Graduation you will be Made level 16, Instead of the Normal level 15 for Genin. As well, you will gain a Permanent +6 to all Learning Rolls for the rest of your Characters Lifespand.

[Genin]
Genin are the lowest level of ninja and also the ones that display the most difference in power. When they become Genin, ninja start to do their bit for their village's economy – being sent on missions that the village gets paid for. They are typically sent either on D-rank missions, which are the lowest rank and are almost entirely risk-free jobs of manual labor, or experienced genin are sent on C-rank missions, which are a cut above that and begin to verge on real "ninja" work – though they generally have a very low possibility of risk to the ninja involved, especially since their Jounin level sensei often accompanies them. Recently, Konohagakure has been shorthanded in upper-level ninja ever since the attack by Otogakure and Sunagakure, and has been forced to occasionally send Genin on higher-ranked missions, often without the supervision of a Jounin.

Maximum Level: 15
Jutsu: Up to C Rank
HP Bonus: +5
CP Bonus: +10
Teaching Abilities: E Ranks Only
Rank Up Mods: None

Note: All Character may Start out as Genin Automatically.

[Advanced Genin]
Advanced Genin are still the lowest tier of official Shinobi, however they are far more experienced then normal. Examples of this would be Naruto, and Sasuke at the end of the 'Naruto' Show, before it became ''Naruto: Shippuden'. They are stronger, Faster, more skilled and can even take on weaker chunin, but they are still infact, Genin. Advanced Genin MUST be DM Approved.

Jutsu: Up to B Rank
HP Bonus: +10
CP Bonus: +15

Chuunin are ninja who are qualified to watch over and guide other ninja. Chuunin have reached a level of maturity that primarily consists of leadership skills and tactical prowess. Some of them, like Iruka Umino, function as teachers and others, like Shikamaru Nara, serve as team leaders in charge of small teams who need to make decisions and utilize the skills of the shinobi under their command to the maximum effect. Chuunin are typically sent on C or B-rank missions. To become a Chuunin, a Genin participates in a large examination, known as the "Chuunin Exams," with his or her team. Special Jounin are ninja who, rather than all-around Jounin training, have Jounin-level ability in a single area or skill, much like warrant officers of real-world militaries. They are elite specialists in their areas and are often assigned as subordinates to regular Jounin when their services are needed. One example of a Special Jounin would be Ibiki Morino. This character's unique ability to completely understand the workings of the human mind makes him a Jounin-level interrogation expert. Ebisu is another Special Jounin that specializes as an elite teacher of young pre-Genin ninja before becoming Konohamaru's sensei in Part II. Chunin/Advanced Chunin must be DM approved for Special Jounin, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed.

_____________________________________________________________

[Jounin]
Jounin are generally highly-experienced ninja with great individual skill who serve as military captains. They are often sent on A-rank missions, and experienced Jounin may even be sent on S-rank missions (which are considered to be the most difficult). They may also carry out these missions alone. They are sometimes assigned as sensei for three-person teams of Genin. It is as of yet unknown what one has to undergo to become one, although it is mentioned in the Naruto Anime Profiles databook that Jounin are appointed, however there was also a mention of a Jounin exam in the Kurama filler arc. Most Jounin are able to use at least two types of elemental jutsu. Chunin/Advanced Chunin/Special Jounin must be DM approved for Jounin, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed, as well you must have One main Mod of 20, a Secondary of 15, and a Tiertary of 10.

_____________________________________________________________

Kage/S-Rank: Those who have achieved the title of Kage are the leaders of the five most powerful Hidden Villages and generally the most powerful ninja in their respective villages. There may be exceptions, however; for example, a ninja may be the most powerful at the time of being installed as Kage, but may become less powerful upon aging, eventually being surpassed by a more youthful ninja. S-Rank Shinobi are just the same, leveled on Par with Kage they are insanely powerful, some even known to be able to take on the Weaker Bijjun without any backup, they are the strongest of Shinobi and the most feared and respected by both allies and enemies alike. Jounin must be DM approved for Kage/S-Rank, this can be requested of the DM team if you feel you are not noticed, as well you must have One main Mod of 25, a Secondary of 20, and a Tiertary of 15 (Or 2 25 Mods, and One 10 Mod).

CP Bonus: +50
Teaching Abilities: E / D / C / B / A / S+ Rank
Rank Up Mods: 3* See bottom of page for details.

Note: Characters May not Start at this Rank.

*Rank Up Mods - These are Mods given to you when you achieve the Rank, by a DM that is Ranking you up. You simply inform the DM where you want the mods placed, and you will then be granted such. Aka: You just got Chunin, so +2 Rank up Mods, you want your Wisdom, your second mod, Raised from a 10 mod to a 12 Mod. (So a base 4 mod to 6 mod.)
