.:: Clan / Bloodline / Special History ::.

The Yuki clan (雪一族, Yuki Ichizoku) lived in the Land of Water. Some time ago, the country was in the midst of a civil war. In this war, different sides battled each other using ninja, some of whom possessed kekkei genkai. After the war ended, memories of the horrific battles still lingered in the minds of the people, causing wide-spread persecutions against those with kekkei genkai. Because of this, the Yuki clan, whose members carried the Ice Release kekkei genkai, went into hiding.

.:: PAST ::.

Misakis family fell victim to the civil war of Mist country, just as so many others did way back in the civil war before the formal formation of Kirigakure. Members of the Yuki clan, they had the foresight to leave before the culling occured, setting out across the oceam to the west. They settled in Fire country and rebuilt, eventually being absorbed into Konohagakure and breeding with the people. This left the bloodline diluted, with the odds of kekkei genkai manifestation at something to the tune of a hundred to one. Shirayuki Misaki, as she's begun to call herself, is that 'one'. These manifestations, of course, occured after a number of tragedies. At age six, her mother died of illness, with her father taking an A-rank mission after the fact and dying on it. This left Misaki alone. Ish. 'Uncle Soken' was still there, her fathers one time mentor. Soken taught her to become a Shinobi, taking her Academy training a step further than that taught in the academy proper. As a young girl, she wasn't so much sheltered as much as sequestered away. Her graduation from the academy lead to a largely Uncle imposed seclusion, focusing on honing her skills with Ninjutsu.

Chakra strips, after all, discerned her blood before it was made more obvious to others. And while an affinity for multiple elements isn't entirely foreign in students in these times, coming home to your adopted daughter making snowcones in the middle of summer certainly is.

Every member of the Yuki clan holds the ability to create Ice and different forms of Ninjutsu at will, this allows the Yuki to be in essence masters of their chakra control to create devastating combinations with their Ice Jutsu.

Universal: Begin with Water, Wind, and Ice Elements
Genin: +1 to Wisdom Rolls, +1d4 to Ninjtusu Damage

One-Handed Seals
All of the Yuki clan hold the unique ability to manipulate the Ice and Chakra within them and around them with only a single hand. This means even while physically stunned or grappled down they may flash through the seals with one hand, utilizing their jutsu for far less chakra and at the same time doing so without the need of normal resources.

Universal: May Use Ninjutsu While Physically Stunned, Requires no Water to use Ice/Water Jutsu.
Genin: +10 Total CP, -2 to CP Costs (Min 1)

[Half-seal Mistress]

Half-seals have been a thing since the first shinobi. Of the oldest shinobi, those with a mastery met by few are the descendants of the Yuki clan. Their manual dexterity allows for even the thinnest of the bloodline to have motions with precision beyond that of their contemporaries. Perhaps it is that, savant-hood and diligence that have lead Misaki to have the talent to perform handseals and half-seals with such precision as to waste no precious chakra in her techniques. Such is her accuracy that she can gauge the seals someone is performing and mirror them, to the point of helping complete the technique itself should a man be unable to use both hands, though her diluted blood may be what enables her to assist in techniques beyond those of her element.

Hyoton: Kouseki shouheki (Crystal Barrier)

Performing several seals, the user slaps the ground below them. This causes several large spikes of ice to rise up around themselves or their target, shrouding them in a thick 'bubble' of ice covering approximately six feet of ground. This is one of the signature Jutsu of Shirayuki, Misaki.
Effect: This Jutsu has two variants.
Self/Ally: This jutsu creates a barrier of ice around the target with 15 hp and 2 dr/hit. While within, the target may still perform techniques but may not move about the battlefield and can dodge at a -4 to rolls.
Enemy: Locks an enemy away an enemy within a thick prison of ice, preventing dodging, use of techniques*, being targetted by anyone but the user and movement around the battlefield. Enemies may break free by inflicting 15 damage to the barrier after its DR.

*Special: Enemies may use techniques while imprisoned, but they MUST target the barrier unless they are Light or Ice type techniques. Fire style jutsu of Rank C or greater will instantly evaporate the prison from the inside.

Hyoton: Kouseki shouheki – Kantsuu (Crystal Barrier – Pierce.)

An expansion on Kouseki shouheki, this turns a defensive technique into a terrifying offensive one. Where once a smooth barrier of ice once stood, large spikes grow forth from it, barrier eventually exploding outwards. Should a target be imprisoned within, the spikes are internalized, creating a devastating attack from all sides that one cannot hope to avoid.
Effect: This jutsu has two variants, depending on use.
Self/Ally: Make an attack with (Ninjutsu) vs all targets. On impact, current HP of Kouseki Shouheki is divided amongst targets as damage. This affects both ally and enemy.
Enemy: Undodgeable, Inflicts remaining barrier HP as damage.
Special- Enemy : If defended against with a Fire-style technique of C-rank or higher, the attack fails.

Hyoton: Toushou Mori (Frostbite Lance)
Jutsu Type: Supplemental (Ninjutsu)

There are a great many jutsu in the world. This one itself an adaptation of Doton: Spears of Stone. In both execution and theory it is extremely simple. Creation of a spear made of ice. Its cold. And it's one of the most ancient weapons known to man. But it works. Nothing frighteningly complex here. When thrust into an opponent, the frigid ice causes its unfortunate victim to begin shivering and suffering from mild hypothermia.
Effect: Lasts 1d4+1 rounds, Create a large weapon that inflicts a -1 to attack and defense rolls on impact (This condition lasts two rounds.). Relevant wielding penalties are halved (Rounded down.). Alternatively, this weapon can be thrown for Rank DMG + 1d4 damage, inflicting its debuff and ending the jutsu.
Special: If the user has used Suiton: Whip of Water, they may sacrifice it to perform this jutsu without an upkeep cost. Contact with Katon: Flame Sword cancels this jutsu and turns it back into a Whip of Water.

Hyouton: Koori Souken no jutsu. (Ice Release: Ice Creation Technique.)

RP Description: This is more of an immobilization Jutsu. The shinobi creates the required hand-seals (9), then releases their Jutsu. The only way for this Jutsu to be effective, is for the shinobi to be within melee range of their jutsu to work. The Shinobi releases a large blast of wind from their palms, creating a cyclone around the target. If the target tries to break free from the Whirlwind, the eye of it becomes much more violent, sucking oxygen from the center. This Jutsu can be doubled over as a lethal form. The shinobi has the ability to completely remove the oxygen from the center, either knocking the target unconscious, or killing them via suffocation. This Jutsu requires a substantial amount of chakra to use, and large amounts of chakra to maintain for more than three minutes

The needles are almost invisible so it is hard for the enemies to see them. Because the needles are made of air they cannot be blocked or deflected. The only way to ensure safety is to dodge them.
